rename the "Locale enabled" button in menu
The menu is for commands (from your dev page...). "Locale enabled" is a status, and this is puzzling the first time around.
Could you rename it "Enable Location" and have the icon show the next status (i.e. once pressed) ?

This was fixed in Locale 1.0.
Locale 1.0 is available on the Android Market today in countries that support paid apps. Full release notes are here: http://www.twofortyfouram.com/notes.html
