Add Settings for Google Voice
Googie Voice (still in invite-only beta at time of writing this) is a service where one Google Voice number can ring multiple other phones at the same time.
I have a request in to Google to open the Voice API to allow 3rd party apps to change the settings. If they add support for that (very likely they will if it's not done already), Locale could then add a Setting plug-in that when in a certain location (work, home, friends, family) it enables or disables Voice phones.
This is implemented by the Locale Google Voice Plug-in, available on the Android Market.

We just released the "Locale Google Voice Plug-In" to the Market. This should fill the gap. Please email us with comments and suggestions at steelgirderdev@googlemail.com

An interim solution using Locale, the HTTP Post Plug-in, and a server-side PHP script was developed by a user. His blog post is here: http://thatsmith.com/2010/02/google-voice-locale

When I first heard of Locale, I immediately thought "awesome, I can automatically allow people to call me on whatever phone I'm close to... whether at home, work, in-laws, etc."
Having a Google Voice plug-in would be the key to making this happen. Google Voice has the API available to change the forwarding number, and Locale has the functionality to keep track of where you are and kick off tasks accordingly. I don't see this functionality being added into the standard Google Voice app... keeping track of location isn't something that seems to fit with the overall goals of Google Voice. But as for Locale, it is right in line with this service.

A plug-in to change Google voice forwarding settings when I leave the house would be GREAT!
No reason Google has to write it, why not 244?

I would like two features here. Mostly utilize the SMS function of google voice, however the function sbarash mentioned would be great. I actually thought about it today, but I'm not sure if thats easy with the current configuration in google voice to easily swap around ringing phones or not. Though, I'd love to be able to have it ring my house phone when i'm at home and my work phone when i'm at work, rather than google voice current implementation which is based on time of day (and i don't work a 9-5 style job so it's not as applicable).

This would make Locale the killer app for me. I really need the ability to have only forwarded phones near me ring, instead all of them ringing and bothering other people.
Also the ability for GV to automatically send to voice mail if I'm at a class, gym, etc. would be fantastic.

Another thought is to set something up that uses the recently released HTTP POST/GET plugin. Maybe something that could post to a server that a condition had started, and then have code server-side that would hook into Google Voice and change a setting (i.e. which phones to divert to...)
I'm going to look into this more over the weekend, but I'd be curious to hear others' thoughts...

If this were added, it would be implemented as a plug-in. I recommend people contact the developer of "GV" and ask him to add a Locale plug-in to his app. http://evancharlton.com/
