separate settings (vol/vib, bklite/timeout)
Since Situations overlap, it would be nice to have the volume and vibrate settings seperate. I don't always want to change my volume when I enable vibrate. I also don't always want to change my backlight brightness when I change the screen timeout.
The same, for me, goes for battery. I'd like the percentage and charging state to be separate. I like the idea of keeping the app compact, but it hampers some of the potential functionality.
Honestly, It would be great to have the option to use the compact, simpler-usage version, and the control-freak-hacker-with-everything-individually-configurable version, possibly available on install or in a settings menu.

This is now supported in Locale 1.0:
The Display setting has been broken down into individual Brightness and Screen Timeout settings.
Likewise, the Network setting has been broken down into individual Bluetooth and Wi-Fi settings.
The Volume setting cannot be broken down, due to limitations in Android regarding how Ringer and Notification volumes are controlled. Separating them in Locale would cause LOTS of problems.
