Don't turn off Bluetooth while in use
Happened yesterday: I was calling my girlfriend over my bluetooth headset and while I was speaking, the time condition switched bluetooth off.
Well, the call continued, but she wondered what I was doing
We’re currently testing this enhancement for an upcoming Locale release.

If you need someone to BETA test, I would happy to assist, as I use this daily.

I've downloaded the call status plugin and the bluetooth plugin hoping that if it's at a higher priority I can tell it to keep bluetooth on if I'm on a call. Haven't tried it yet though. I would love a way to keep the call on even though I usually have the bluetooth turn off when I get home.

Hello. "Locale Call Status Plug-In" is for Android 2.x, do you know of an alternative for Android 1.6?
Thanks.

Also should not turn off bluetooth if media (music) is playing through the bluetooth headset. Be sure to support MixZing as well as the native android music player.

There is a plug in now that sets a condition for if you are on a call. I use that to enable bluetooth on calls. Then if bluetooth is on for another reason (car docked for me) and then I get a call and switch it the headset bluetooth will stay on after I undock the phone until the call ends.

The 'Locale Call Status Plug-In' is now on the market for free -- the one mentioned in the on-a-call situation request doesn't appear for me.

definately love this idea as i tend to want my bluetooth enabled in car between 5pm and 5.30 on the way home from work :)

Yay! I'm so glad this is in the hopper! This just makes sense.
I need to prioritize my mute settings, for example, where BT is just wasting battery, but I drive a Subaru, and they are notoriously loud. I'd really like to avoid yet another Situation just to handle something like this. I also don't want my BT to turn on, say, if I've left my headset in the car, and I need to make a call when I'm in the bathroom to avoid a tedious meeting.

While that would be a workaround, people should still vote on this one too since I see them as separate issues. (They would be implemented independently)

If this is correct (Carter, could you please confirm that?), would you consider to switch your votes to "On a Call condition" thread? The link is in my previous comment

If this is implemented:
http://feedback.twofortyfouram.com/pages/5655-locale-feedback/suggestions/398331-on-a-call-situation
where you set bluetooth on while calling, and if such a condition is set at a priority level higher than the one that sets bluetooth off, this whole issue shouln't happen.
