Wait to switch bluetooth off (on time condition) BUT WAIT 'TIL CALL IS OVER!

Happened yesterday: I was calling my girlfriend over my bluetooth headset and while I was speaking, the time condition switched bluetooth off.

Well, the call continued, but she wondered what I was doing

  1. There is a plug in now that sets a condition for if you are on a call. I use that to enable bluetooth on calls. Then if bluetooth is on for another reason (car docked for me) and then I get a call and switch it the headset bluetooth will stay on after I undock the phone until the call ends.

  2. The 'Locale Call Status Plug-In' is now on the market for free -- the one mentioned in the on-a-call situation request doesn't appear for me.

  3. definately love this idea as i tend to want my bluetooth enabled in car between 5pm and 5.30 on the way home from work :)

Yay! I'm so glad this is in the hopper! This just makes sense.

I need to prioritize my mute settings, for example, where BT is just wasting battery, but I drive a Subaru, and they are notoriously loud. I'd really like to avoid yet another Situation just to handle something like this. I also don't want my BT to turn on, say, if I've left my headset in the car, and I need to make a call when I'm in the bathroom to avoid a tedious meeting.

While that would be a workaround, people should still vote on this one too since I see them as separate issues. (They would be implemented independently)

  6. If this is correct (Carter, could you please confirm that?), would you consider to switch your votes to "On a Call condition" thread? The link is in my previous comment

  7. If this is implemented:

where you set bluetooth on while calling, and if such a condition is set at a priority level higher than the one that sets bluetooth off, this whole issue shouln't happen.
