Notification Setting

Add a new setting to provide configurable notifications. This would allow:
1. Locale notifications at the top of the screen to be configurable
2. Audible notifications
3. Vibrating notifications

        Has this been withdrawn? An earlier version of Locale used to tell me in the notification window what status had just been activated... now it does it silently without any prompt. Whilst I appreciate that this can be better at times, is it a setting to get it back at other times?

        Could there also be an "Ongoing" notification indication in the dropdown menu of the notification bar to indicate which situations are currently active?
