Hey, I finished writing the HTTP Request Plug-In, i just have currently problems uploading it to the market/signing it. It will be up very soon. You can leave me feetback here on this site. THe first version is ver limited, you can out in the URL, and two key/value pairs to post. Please let me know what other features you might like. Regards, Toby - Steelgirder

This is something I am going to be working on, but I think you guys are missing the potential power for this. You could use Locale to send an HTTP GET to a server in your house that automatically shuts down all computers and turns off the lights when you leave your house, or turns them on (wake on LAN) when you get home. (as just one example).

It would be awesome if Locale can lunch a browser window and Go to a specified URL when I'm in certain location.

Would be nice if it could deal with https and also deal with ignoring https certificates (if the user particularly wanted).

Depending on how this is implemented, it could allow us to log in automatically to the wifi network where I work. But, it would need to be able to do an actual POST, rather than just a GET.
