This is implemented by the Locale Button Plug-in, which can be found on the Android Market by choosing “Get Plug-ins” from the menu of the Locale home screen.

This has been implemented by the “Locale Call Detection Plug-in” plug-in condition for Locale 1.0. To find this plug-in on the Market, simply open Locale and choose Get Plug-ins from the menu.

This would be very usefull condition to add actions to.
I’d use it to have bluetooth active only while I’m calling.

@Carter: You are right: I thought about extending the “Contact” condition, but actually for me it would work better with the implementation of a “On a call” condition.
One last thing: when a contact makes just one ring (in some country this is a common practice meaning “i’m thinking of you” or “call me back” or “I’m still alive” :-) etc.. ) Contact conditions apply but stay applied also after the ring. This shouldn’t happen in “on a call” condition (and perhaps not in contacts condition too..)
Do you need me to switch my votes to the request you linked me?
Thanks

This is now supported in Locale 1.0. To add multiple conditions of the same type, simply long-press on the Add Condition button.
Locale 1.0 is available on the Android Market today in countries that support paid apps. Full release notes are here: http://www.twofortyfouram.com/notes.html

Great idea, but what if more then one condition is applied at the same time?
