At long last Locale 3.0 introduces the Calendar condition to detect events on your Google Calendar, Exchange Calendar, or any other calendar supported by Android.

There is a third party plug-in that accomplishes this. The “Locale Plug-in Appli Detection” is available on the Android Market in all countries that support paid apps.

A condition like this would allow me to read ebooks in peace. I'd love to hide non-urgent notifications like email and sms while the ebook reader is in the foreground.
