At long last Locale 3.0 introduces the Calendar condition to detect events on your Google Calendar, Exchange Calendar, or any other calendar supported by Android.
While Locale 3.0 is available for Android 2.2 or later, the Calendar condition requires Android 4.0 or later. To learn more about Locale 3.0, please see our release notes here http://blog.twofortyfouram.com/post/19303488607/locale-3-0

Locale 3.0 now includes a built-in Media Volume setting.
For those who are looking for Voice or Alarm volume settings, I’ve created two new requests. Please cast your votes there.

A 3rd party developer has created a plug-in called “Locale Lockscreen Plug-in” that implements this feature request.
This plug-in can be found by choosing the “Get Plug-ins” menu item within Locale.

This is now supported in Locale 1.0. To add multiple conditions of the same type, simply long-press on the Add Condition button.
Locale 1.0 is available on the Android Market today in countries that support paid apps. Full release notes are here: http://www.twofortyfouram.com/notes.html

There is a third party plug-in which implements this feature for users who have rooted their phones. Just take a look for the “Quick Boot” app available on the Android Market.
For the average user, this won’t be possible due to security restrictions in Android. See the developer discussion, along with Google’s responses here: http://groups.google.com/group/android-developers/browse_thread/thread/5a97467ef5b4bf47/cf356c5fafccd67e#cf356c5fafccd67e
