The free Day & Night Locale Plug-in is now available on the Android Market. This plug-in implements the original request of detecting sunrise/sunset based on time of year and latitude.

This is implemented by Locale Gesture Control, a plug-in condition available on the Android Market.
To find Locale plug-ins, simply choose “Get plug-ins” from the menu of the main Locale screen.

I, um… this is completely riduculous, but… I have a landscape set as my wallpaper, and right now I have locale switch it over to a scary landscape at nighttime. Letting me not only set those to actual sunrise/set times, but throw in some snow & rain variables? Or better yet, a nice and calming “don’t panic” screen for hurricane/blizzard/tornado conditions, would be something nice for a chuckle on a really, really bad day.
I know it’s absurd. I don’t beed your judgement.
